Need a little humor after a dark
week? Visiting artist Aaron Lish will be sharing his newest participatory performance piece “What’s
Next? (line by line)” at the Pallet Pavilion Friday, 14 March at 5:00pm. Although not necessarily designed as a comedy, it brought
lots of laughs at its debut performance last night as part of Art Escape on the
Coromandel.
For this performance, the audience will become the
participants, reading a script aloud as part of an impromptu social gathering
(with plenty of opportunity to laugh thrown in as well!) .
Why do we say the things we do? And do we really mean what we
say?
What are the unwritten rules
governing our communication? And will these rules be broken as the script
unfolds? Come find out as an active participant, and explore why we communicate
the way we do.
Contact Aaron at alish@cocc.edu for more information, or to reserve a seat. Seating is limited!
There will be a $5 donation collected at the door to cover the cost of the venue.
Updates posted to the event page on Facebook.
